They can trade two ways. Either they share their art for free and be part of the art sharing collective, opt to receive optional time tips (if they want) or they can set a time payment per read/listen. Artists and inventors set their terms.

You can trade direct and design a payment system without bank intervention. In earthtopia, we simply call them gear and is shown in your profile inventory. If a gear is not in your profile inventory, its free to be used by someone who needs it. This cleans up the hidden assets held on by the 1%.
What happens to countries?
Their scope changes to something that is more cooperative rather than invasive. Borders are based on natural features as mountain ranges, river towns, sea side port towns. Each have autonomy to decide

They are personal and like everything, my not be advertised. Broadcasting them on loudspeakers, knocking on people’s doors to share, forcing them on people who didnt ask for them is against the natural order. But they are free to convene in their own space.
